Location: Brandesburton, East Yorkshire
Reports To: HR Manager



To lead all recruitment activity for the business and support the wider HR team in delivering a first in class HR service across the employee life cycle.


Experience, Qualifications & Training:

  • CIPD level 5 – Desirable
  • High volume end to end recruitment experience
  • Headhunting/direct approaching of potential employees experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience within HR/Talent acquisition role

Principle accountabilities:

  • Manage the recruitment process for senior level roles (+30k)
  • Ensure ATR’s and recruitment process followed for all vacancies and provide support for HR assistant
  • Be the central point of contact for all recruitment activity
  • Reduce agency spend and maintain recruitment budget
  • Draw up/oversee creation of job descriptions/competency based profiles
  • Create recruitment matrixes for use by all HR employees to be used across every recruitment cycle
  • Oversee HR assistant activities for all lower level recruitment activity
  • Draw up contracts for relevant recruitment pieces & oversee offer proposal process
  • Manage the IR35 process for the business
  • Create alongside HR assistant recruitment PSL & go to for each specific recruitment cohort
  • Deliver the annual headcount plan alongside HR Manager & manage recruitment throughout the year vs plan
  • Manage alongside HR Manager IFS implementation relevant sections
  • Deliver all new user training to new employees on IFS HR related activity
  • Pipeline recruitment activity alongside divisional heads
  • Work alongside HR manager and team to improve employee experience
  • Manage the onboarding process fr all new employees
  • Support the EDI strategy implementation through actions & best practice
  • Help launch EDI related projects and initiatives
  • Attend job fairs, conventions & educational premises to develop the PML brand name
  • Support HR activity such as employee relation actions ( D&G)
  • Audit PSL terms and conditions ensuring commercial viability for PML
  • Support any retention practices or exercises within the business
  • Work alongside HR assistant to evaluate exit interview data to report back to the business with actionable MI
  • Monitor key recruitment metrics such as turnover, cost, attrition/retention rates
  • Acting as a point of contact for hiring managers, employees and other HR team members
  • Increase success of factory recruitment onboard and retention
  • Support the departments ESG plan & implementation.
